NYEPI Silent Retreat

“Nyepi” means quiet and peaceful and is Bali’s new year celebration – in silence. Balinese celebrate it on a dark moon “Tilem Kesanga”, annually in March or April. The rituals and celebrations span about a week; on Nyepi day 24 hrs of silence are observed. This year, Nyepi will fall over 25 and 26 March 2020.

During this vipassana silent meditation retreat – up to 7 days of intense meditation practise, talking and all forms of communication with other guests will be banned; you will reset, relax and reconnect with nature. The silent meditation retreat is based on the practice of vipassana: “to see things as they really are,” and a focus on the intense interconnection between your body and mind.

At the end of the experience you will feel energized, creatively inspired and able to access a deep well of joy. Return home with a meditation practice that you can easily incorporate into your daily life.
